Imi&Judit – Couple Session

Last week my good friend Imi asked me to do a portrait session with them. I knew he was crazy about fishing and I had no doubt I had to build this into our concept. So I started to wonder which would be the best location and then I remembered not too far from Budapest there was a little and hidden fishing lake. Long time ago I saw photographs of that place and seemed very magical so I decided to find it. It was not an easy challenge because on the internet you can not find the exact location of it so after I was sure in which city it was I went there and started to ask around the whereabout of the secret and private lake. I was lucky because I bumped into a local girl who knew it and she showed me the way but I have to say it is a place what you probably would not find easily in terms of the fact you have to cross a forest and know which path to take to get into a little bridge which will lead you to the entrance of this place. Definitely worth all the effort because it is probably the most magical place in Hungary where I have ever been and on the top of it nobody was there apart from a few fishermen.
So I told Imi about it and we went there to do our session. His other half Judit was very impressed by the lake as well considering that we had the whole place for ourselves. So we walked around the lake and the little islands on it, explored the tiny houses and the nature around. It was so much fun to shoot them not just because they are a lovely couple but also they both have extremely positive personalities and a crazy sense of humor so it wasn’t hard to make them smile or feel natural in front of the camera. We spent a few happy hours out there on a chilli wintery Sunday…but enough of words, here is the result!
